PROFILE:

Gerard D. Cohen, D.C.

Dr. Cohen was born in Morocco where he spent his early childhood. At the age of 12, he and his family moved to southern France. He came to the United States to attend college at UCLA. After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Cohen attended graduate school and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Los Angeles. He has been practicing in Pasadena, California since 1981.

Dr. Cohen's chiropractic career began at Thie Chiropractic Clinic in 1981. In August of 1988, Dr. Cohen opened Cohen Chiropractic Center in its original location on California Boulevard. After more than 23 years on California Boulevard, Dr. Cohen moved his office to his current location on Arroyo Parkway in January of 2012.

Dr. Cohen is fluent in French, Spanish and English. He and his wife, Edie, have been married since 1978. Their daughter, Sarah, is an architecture student at the University of Oregon.

Dr. Cohen's hobbies include playing petanque (the French version of bocci ball), gardening, playing basketball and tennis, bridge and card games, watching foreign/classic films and television, reading and cooking.
